This system was installed 10 months ago. Dean’s C5 is driven often and stored OUTSIDE all year long.
At first glance the tips look like they are rusted. But it’s amazing what you will find in road grime.
Fine steel wool and 30 seconds later the tips look like new except for where they were inside the other pipe. A little more work and that would have been perfect, also.
This shows the underside of the exhaust which is the side exposed to all the elements. 1 year of outdoor storage and weekly driving. Not bad! 10 minutes and a little chrome polish would have this entire kit looking brand new.
