Mike Martini installed one of our SGF11 Dual Muffler Systems on his 1979 Trans Am. He was nice enough to send us the details and some pictures of his install.
This is the old system on Mike's Trans Am when he began the Pypes install. This Trans Am is equipped with a 6.6 403 Olds motor.
This is the Pypes X-pipe that Mike matched up to a pair of Hooker Super Comp Headers.
Mike used 1" band clamps on the exhaust joints.
The 4-piece tailpipes go over the axle. Mike chose optional splitter tips to complete his new system.
Tailpipe bracket on the passenger side. Installing the splitter tips is the last step.
Here is the final look of the exhaust and splitter tips. Mike told us, "You guys were very helpful and the install was a breeze."
