That's why we give you several different proven designs to choose from instead of forcing you to go with a technology that may not be right for your sound and performance needs. A sound rating is also provided for each muffler:
[1]= silent --> [10]= Loudest
Keep in mind these sound tests are based on cars WITHOUT catalytic converters. If you are planning on using a catalytic converter(s) you can subtract 1 to 3 sound ratings from those listed as cats tend to smooth and lower the overall tone of exhaust systems.

Don't let the looks of this muffler fool you. Although at idle, you may cause passengers to immediately reach for their seat belts, upon acceleration, a smooth authoritative tone turns apprehension into a reassuring confidence. This is a great street/strip muffler that will maintain its rich sound qualities for the life of the muffler because there is no filler to burn off. Recommended for stock to medium modified vehicles where an aggressive sound is appreciated but not advertised. Sound Rating = [7.0]

Sometimes you just gotta have the best of everything. When it comes to flow, you just can't get anything better than our Race Pro Muffler. This baby features a 'straight through' path with throughput that can be 95% of straight pipe! The throaty sound is surprisingly tame considering the absence of any impedance  when you look down its barrel. At idle and low rpm cruising, you will not draw much attention, but upon acceleration, bystanders lookout! The Race Pro’s aggressive sound is the result of applying a layer of stainless mesh around a unique internal perforated tube, accompanied by a healthy stuffing of basalt insulation before the unit is sealed. Highly recommended for the track where every 1/10th counts. Of course, there are plenty of these mufflers hidden under some fine street machines too. Think of these mufflers as large inhalers for your car. Sound Rating = [7.0]

The Violator is our newest muffler and has already gained acceptance and praise in the marketplace. It flows as much air as our Race-Pro muffler but has an incredibly unique and aggressive sound! The Violator’s aggressive sound is the result of a unique internal louvered tube with mini sound deflector chambers. If you want to be noticed... this is your muffler! Sound Rating = [9.0/10]

These Mini converters are 409 stainless, but weigh only 2.5 lbs and measure only 11” long. Installed, they only take up 7” in length. The 5.0 Litre is rated at 4,500 lbs capacity. Pypes cats and catted X-pipes will pass most states emmissions testing proceedures. However, check your local and state ordinances for installation and usage regulations.
