FRIDAY CRUISE-IN:
Performance Years and Pypes Exhaust would like to invite all of our customers and friends to congregate in our headquarters parking lot on Friday afternoon between noon and 6:00pm. We’d like to show some hospitality to the people who make our companies successful. We encourage everyone to mingle, talk cars, share some laughs and have a good time. Around 5:30pm we will start encouraging people to begin the casual cruise to a nice local eatery near our offices.
|
FRIDAY NIGHT CRUISE:
On Friday night, we invite everyone to join us on a short cruise to a nice local restaurant (Margaritas Mexican Restaurant) near our offices. This is a casual cruise we expect to start around 5:30pm, details and directions will be provided at the event. We've arranged for special discounts at Margaritas for anyone who attends.
Because of the growing interest we've been getting, we've reserved a large parking area right next to Margaritas. With over 250 spaces in the parking area, this Cruise could quickly become the highlight of the weekend.
We know this opportunity will allow us to meet, greet and hang-out with many of the customers we don’t get to interact with. Plus, to allow our customers to meet each other, share knowledge and show-off your rides.

What can be better than TWO separate Car Shows? Of course, the answer is THREE Car Shows hosted at one location. Performance Years is hosting the All Pontiac Car Show. We expect this show to attract tons of local and not-so-local Pontiacs in every condition between barely rolling and pristine concourse. Pypes Exhaust is hosting an Muscle Car & Truck Show and invites muscle cars and trucks from all years, makes and models to come out. Expect to see a huge range of vehicles, from early Chevelles & Cudas to the latest Mustangs & performance trucks, all gathered into one location. And starting this year, Penn Mustangs is hosting a Mustang cruise-in for all you Mustang owners and lovers out there.
Enter your car or just come out to watch. Along with both car shows, there will be no shortage of things to do. Our showroom will be open for you to browse. Our Technical staff will be on-hand for you to quiz. We will be offering special discounts on PY and Pypes products. There will be locally sponsored food for you to enjoy. We are also booking a local band as entertainment all afternoon. But best of all, there will be plenty of your automobile lovin' brethren to talk cars and trucks all day long. Invite your friends, bring your family and have a good time with us.
The majority of the proceeds of ticket sales will be donated to the Greater Philadelphia Chapter of the ALS Association. ALS is a devastating motor neuron disease for which there is no known cause or cure. Although the cause of ALS is not fully understood, the last decade has brought a wealth of new scientific understanding about the disease that provides hope for the future. Lou Gehrig first brought national and international attention to the disease in 1939 when he abruptly retired from baseball after being diagnosed with ALS. Most commonly, the disease strikes people between the ages of 40 and 70, and as many as 30,000 Americans have the disease at any given time. Advances in technology and the genetic revolution are aiding researchers in unlocking the ALS mystery. As more scientists focus on this perplexing disease, the outlook for new understanding brightens each day. We are honored to do our part in raising both awareness of ALS and funding for it's research.

SATURDAY: BAND & ENTERTAINMENT
We heard nothing but compliments about the band, steppingSTONE, who played our open house last year. So we are proud to announce that we've booked steppingSTONE to return for this year's event as entertainment all afternoon. steppingSTONE, an indie rock band from North Jersey, is known for playing their own material as well as covering renditions of the songs that made us all fall in love with music in the first place. Their sound and influences consist of Tom Petty, The Beatles, U2, Bruce Springsteen, Billy Joel and Van Morrison, just to name a few.

SATURDAY: EVENT MAP
|
|
On the left you will find a map of the show area (click it to see the full-size image). This same map is also in the Event Program but we've posted it so you can get an early "lay-of-the-land".
If you are visiting us on Friday, you can use the main Clemens Road entrance and park anywhere at the front of the building (marked Car Show Area A & B on the map). On Saturday, we will have the main Clemens Road entrance blocked off and will be routing all traffic in through the Fairgrounds Road entrance (follow the green line). This will make the spectator parking and registration areas easy to get in and out of.
We have recently made some changes to the event's layout. Chief among these changes is moving all of the car show areas to the front of our building. This should make access to all of the event locations more convenient (including our showroom, Hospitality tent, food tent and band).
Anyone who is bringing a trailer, there is now plenty of parking behind our building. This area should provide plenty of space for trailer unloading, as well as trailer and RV parking. We are also making our indoor bathroom available all weekend, for your convenience.
There are plenty of both grassy and paved areas around the event area. Bring your blankets, chairs or even popup tents.
